Valentino

Yorkie Mix
Adult • Male • Small
Lebanon, PA

House trained  • Neutered • Current on vaccinations

MUNCHKIN ALERT!

Valentino is a wonderful, happy little guy. He LOVES  people, especially his human.  He is very velcro, will follow you around, loves to have your attention and will have no problem being your one and only. House trained, walks well on a leash, and loves car rides. Except for exploring a little in the yard, he is mostly right by your side and comes when called.

He LOVES his toys, will play growl with you in tug of war.  You can take the toy from him, although he doesn’t readily relinquish it.

He has met the cats that live on the farm behind us, as well as a friend’s cats, and he was fine with them.  He was curious and smelled them, but wasn’t interested.  I don’t think living with one would be an issue.

He gets along well with all his tiny foster brothers and sisters( 3 yorkies and a chihuahua). He also got along well with my other yorkie foster, but it took time for them to be comfortable with one another. He takes treats nicely and waits his turn.  He greets dogs nicely, but wouldn’t live well with younger or high energy dogs.  He seems to prefer, older laid back dogs. He doesn’t like to share his toys with another dog.  His ideal home, and what I prefer, is a home where he will be the only dog.  A loved and cherished family member forever.  I also prefer a home where someone is home most of the day, as he loves human interaction.  He is good with kids, fine with my grandkids ages 7 through 13. But they are respectful towards dogs and treat them well.  We are told he lived with children ages 2 through 10, interacted well with them and was gentle towards them, which I find to be true.

He has separation anxiety when you leave, nothing concerning, he is not destructive at all, but will bark or whine when you leave. Does stop after you are gone, and is sooo happy to see you upon your return. He has, and will, stay in a crate, although I don’t crate him.  If I am gone more than 4 hrs, I confine the dogs to my integrated grooming shop.  Crates are in there with the doors left open, he will lay in a crate or on a dog bed, or play with the toys. He has been fine with free reign, just not sure he could hold it all day since I am here most of the time. He does sleep in bed with us and is fine overnight.

He is a bundle of love, fun to have, and well mannered. He becomes quickly attached, always ready to be loved, and will be the joy of your life.

Valentino is about 5 yrs old and weighs 11 lbs. He is utd on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.
