MEET SHADOW!

This very handsome boy, pit/lab (we feel equal portions) is such a sweetheart. He has been saved out of Yonkers Shelter and is in a temp foster home right now, so we are seeking a committed foster OR forever home for Shadow.

Shadow's ideal home would be one where the guardian has canine experience. A home where he is the solo dog. Though he has shown that he does well with females and also with males (with slower intros) on his own turf, he prefers to be the one and only. He loves his walks and is great on the leash. He has proven to be loving with kids (he's with older daughters now). A bit leery of men, he would need slow intros with males if in the home. A relatively quiet home with a female guardian or guardians would be great or with a couple; adult only or with older kids. He is crate trained and house trained.

He just needs a chance! He's a terrific canine!

SHADOW is up to date on his vaccines. He is about 3 years old and weighs about 45 lbs.
