From Lucy herself: Oh my goodness did I hit the jackpot! Rebound Hounds saved me at the 11th hour from a shelter in Manhattan. I was found by some nice police officers who found me roaming the streets.
I LOVE my foster doggie sisters dearly and feel much comfort with them. We've gone on trail walks and leashed jogging runs up to 4 miles with my foster mom. I am good on the leash and learning how not to pull with some positive reinforcement and consistency. I am HOUSE TRAINED, a good eater and am working on crate training. I absolutely ADORE THE CAT (even when she's crabby I love her.) I know a few basic commands and if you have treats and 15 min a day to keep me sharp, I am an absolute gem. I sound perfect but like all dogs I do need exercise so I can focus on being awesome. I LOVE running and walking and would jump at the chance if you offered to take me to the dog park! I would really love my new home to be with another dog(s) that I can learn from and feel comfortable with. I will stare at you when I need to go outside and am working on being verbal like my foster sisters do. I travel well in the car and enjoy watching my foster mom do yard work. I do not like the lawnmower or the vacuum but can you blame me? I love to snuggle with my foster sisters and mom and will lay at your feet if you are on the computer or reading a book. I have no food guarding issues. My ideal home would be one with another dog or dogs, someone who will give me the daily exercise I need and probably older kids over ten, since I am still a bit of a jumper! Thanks! And watch my video! LOVE, Lucy. Lucy is about 1 year old and weighs 48 lbs. She is utd on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. WATCH HER VIDEO! https://youtu.be/B2j9kZViAwY |
