Loren McAuley is a writer living with her family and dogs in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY.
A graduate of the MFA program at NYU, she wrote "Bishop and The Bully", a children's tale of rescue which benefits Rebound Hounds. Along with partner Karina Strobl, she volunteered at Brooklyn Animal Care Center for a number of years before founding Rebound.

Karina Strobl lives in Astoria, NY with her husband and rescue dogs, Gina, a senior pitbull mix and Joey, a young spunky terrier mix.
A graduate of Georgetown University, her professional background of 15 years is in fundraising and development. Karina was a volunteer at the Brooklyn Animal Care Center for several years where she learned a great deal about shelters and the world of rescue prior to founding Rebound.
